FSC®

The FSC® (Forest Stewardship Council®) is an international organisation that promotes responsible forest management worldwide.

The FSC® Chain of Custody certification enables companies throughout the product chain to identify FSC®-certified materials and to document their movement within the supply chain in a traceable manner.

As an FSC®-certified company, HAFRO meets the requirements of the FSC® Chain of Custody standard and is therefore able to offer and label certified products within the product chain.

PEFC

PEFC (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification) is an international system designed to promote sustainable forest management and to certify timber and forest products.

PEFC certification enables companies throughout the supply chain to document the origin of the materials used in a traceable manner. It provides the basis for making claims regarding the origin of timber from PEFC-certified, sustainably managed forests.

The certification ensures that the relevant information is passed on within the supply chain in a controlled and verifiable manner.

As a PEFC-certified company, HAFRO meets the requirements of the PEFC standard and can offer and label certified products within the supply chain.
