FIRE DRILL AT HAFRO

As the Annaberg fire brigade reports, three Annaberg kids are members of the St. Martin youth fire brigade. On this training evening, all the children came to Annaberg and took on the complete fire-fighting attack at the Hafro company. They confidently and precisely set up the equipment, some of which was heavy for them, in a very short time.

The task of the Annaberg fire brigade was to search for missing children in the warehouse using heavy breathing apparatus and to set up two supply lines with a suction point on the Lammer. Crossing the main road safely in the dark was an important part of the exercise that should not be underestimated.

At the end, while the adults were tending to the equipment in the vehicles, the kids were allowed to practise with the pneumatic lifting bags. The breathing protection team had previously used this equipment to rescue trapped persons.

After the exercise briefing, we were able to treat everyone to a snack.
A big THANK YOU to the St. Martin youth fire brigade with their supervisors and to the Annaberg fire brigade, you are doing a great job.
